Workshop in Hamburg, Germany, May 3, 2012

I would like to thank you for the excellent workshop last thursday.
I can recommend your curse to every new assistant in obstetrics. In the clinical daily life do we learn usually "by doing", but without the theoretical basics, which were teached in your workshop.

Workshop for midwives in Sweden, May 4-5, 2011

Bra uppbyggt i olika delar/stationer."

Super, super!"

Workshop for newly educated midwives in Denmark

Above all, it was nice to yet again review our basic knowledge of suturing techniques and the anatomy of the pelvic floor. Subsequently, it was excellent to learn about new knot techniques which vary from hospital to hospital and from midwife to midwife.

The workshop, on the whole, offers a good opportunity for, amongst others, newly educated midwives to get a better idea of how ones wishes to practice suturing. Excellent material is delivered to the participants which offers a good overview of the various degrees of lacerations as well as suturing techniques.

It was very rewarding to sit and practice the various knots on a medical model. This offers the possibility to immerse ones self in the technique without having to hurry up because the next delivery is waiting.

Sara is good at helping everyone during the medical model exercises and has a very pedagogical, communitive approach. One experiences a kind of 'aha' feeling when a new technique is tried out on a medical model or when a nice new knot or suturing technique is completed.

Workshop for midwives in Stavanger, Norway, 2009

In April 2009, we arranged a course on suturing for midwives and doctors at Stavanger University Hospital in Norway. We had three 3.5 hour courses in theory with Sara Kindberg from GynZone in Denmark.

A workshop for a selected 14 doctors and midwives, who represented resource personel for the department, was arranged after the last theoretical course.

Our experience with the course is positive. PowerPoint presentations and animations were both illustrative and clear. A theoretical evaluation with a subsequent Workshop makes the course highly beneficial.

The course is highly recommended. In addition, we have taken advantage of the educational material to be found on www.gynzone.dk. The material is of good quality and can be used for teaching midwives and student midwives.

There is entirely positive feedback form the staff.
